Boasting a 25,000 square foot facility, Belmont / Harlem Surgery Center offers coordinated services at one convenient location. Typical hospitals sometimes require patients to stop at several departments prior to their surgery or procedure.
At B/HSC all services including patient registration, medical history and surgery take place at the same facility.

Belmont / Harlem Surgery Center is licensed and regulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health and has achieved Accreditation from The Joint Commission.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
ASCs specialize in surgery, therefore surgery centers can concentrate on the most advanced equipment available. Advanced technology reduces complications by offering less invasive techniques. Also, these techniques reduce the need for certain anesthesia, thereby allowing patients to return home the same day. This significantly reduces the cost for the patient by eliminating long hospital stays. Belmont/Harlem Ambulatory Surgery Center is a high-quality, same day, outpatient surgery location. We schedule all surgical services for one day, at one location.

We meet your scheduling needs. We offer patients convenient surgery times and options. Our patients report their procedure is rarely bumped or delayed by an emergency case. We offer convenience with front door parking and 1st floor access.
Our physician-directed and dedicated outpatient practice is focused on your procedure. Our staff is highly rated for their personal approach to patient centered care.

EFFICIENT BILLING
We understand the challenges that managed care beneficiaries have with surgeries. When scheduling, we can assure patients as well as their physicians that the procedure is covered. Prior to surgery, our office staff prepares a precertification to verify coverage.
EFFICIENT PROCEDURES
Turnaround time between surgeries is as much as 3x faster than at hospitals. Patients can be confident that their physicians are able to treat them using the most advanced surgical tools available.
